Agra Nagar Nigam Election Result: BJP's Hemlata Diwakar Kushwaha won from Agra by defeating BSP's Lata Valmiki. The counting of votes for local body elections were held on Saturday, May 13, at Naveen Galla Mandi on Firozabad road. Around 6.72 lakh votes were counted at 174 tables. It has 60-60 tables for mayor and councillors. The counting will decide the fate of 1,214 candidates including ten mayoral candidates.

- Independents win elections in Agra: From Ward 47, Agra Municipal Corporation, Niranjan Singh, Bharatiya Janata Party has won. From Ward 46, Badri Prasad won from Bharatiya Janata Party. Vimlesh, Bahujan Samaj Party won from Ward 07. From 08 Nidhi Singh, Bahujan Samaj Party won. Madhu Mahore from Ward 23 won from Bharatiya Janata Party. From Ward 6, Radha Rani Manmani, Bharatiya Janata Party won. Harshit Sharma, Independent has won from Ward 24.
- Fierce competition among councilor candidates: Ward 93 was won by Anu Gupta from Bharatiya Janata Party. Hemlata Chauhan, Bharatiya Janata Party won from ward five. Sajjan Ali of Samajwadi Party has won from Ward 82.
- BSP candidate got a lead of 22,000 votes: The counting of votes for the four phases of the mayoralty has been completed. BSP candidate Dr Lata Valmiki is leading by 22,000 votes. He has left BJP candidate Hemlata Diwakar Kushwaha behind.
- Municipal Corporation's Ward No. 1 result declared. BSP candidate Meena Devi won by 1700 votes. He has defeated BJP candidate Indravati Devi.
