AIIMS Satellite Centre In Ghaziabad: The path has been cleared for the construction of the satellite centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Vasundhara Sector 7 of Ghaziabad. The proposal to give the land has been passed in the board meeting of Awas Vikas Parishad held in Lucknow on Friday. Awas Vikas Parishad will give 10 acres of land to AIIMS. The cost of this land is about Rs 487 crore, jagran.com reported.
Before the elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who had come to Ghaziabad, had decided to build a satellite centre of AIIMS in Ghaziabad. After this, preparations for this had intensified. The Housing Development Council had shown land to AIIMS officials in Vasundhara, Siddharth Vihar and Mandola Vihar Yojana. Housing Development will give 10 acres of land to AIIMS in the corner towards Indirapuram. The department will give the letter to AIIMS. After this, the further steps would be initiated.
AIIMS Satellite Centre Connectivity
Vasundhara Sector 7 is near Namo Bharat Station, NH 9 and Delhi Meerut Expressway. Elevated road is also passing at a short distance. Kaushambi Bus Depot, Anand Vihar Railway Station and Bus Stand are also nearby.
Flights have also begun operating from Hindon Airport Civil Terminal. This will make it very easy for people to reach here. The people of Trans Hindon were demanding a government hospital for a long time. People from NCR and West Uttar Pradesh will benefit the most from project. The burden on Delhi AIIMS will also be reduced.
“The Chief Minister had ordered that good land should be given for the AIIMS Satellite Centre. Therefore, the proposal to give 10 acres of land in Vasundhara Sector 7 has been passed in the board meeting. Soon the land will be given to AIIMS. So that further process can start," said Uttar Pradesh Housing Commissioner Dr Balkar Singh, jagran.com reported.
