Amrit Udyan Opening Date: President Droupadi Murmu, on Sunday, February 1, inaugurated the Amrit Udyan Winter Annual Edition 2026 in New Delhi. If you're planning to visit, the President’s Secretariat has announced that Rashtrapati Bhavan's Amrit Udyan will remain open for the public from February 3 to March 31, 2026.
Major Attractions At Amrit Udyan
This year, the edition of Amrit Udyan will be a "landscaping marvel", featuring stunning, rare varieties of seasonal flowers and the debut of the Babbling Brook, a meandering stream with cascades, sculptural spouts, stepping stones, a reflecting pool, and reflexology paths.
Apart from tulips, visitors will also be able to see 145 varieties of roses, including 'Bheem', 'Arjun' and 'Mother Teresa'.

The Amrit Udyan (formerly known as Mughal Garden) will be open to the public from February 3 to March 31, 2026. Visitors can explore the gardens six days a week between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with the final entry permitted at 5:00 PM.
Amrit Udyan: Check Closures And Exclusive Viewing Dates
The garden will be closed on Mondays for maintenance and on March 4 for the festival of Holi. Additionally, Amrit Udyan will open exclusively for the following special groups:
March 3, 2026: Defence Personnel
March 5, 2026: Senior Citizens
March 10, 2026: Women and Tribal Women SHGs
March 13, 2026: Differently Abled Individuals
How To Book Tickets For Amrit Udyan?
Entry to Rashtrapati Bhavan's Amrit Udyan during Udyan Utsav is free of cost. Visitors are advised to book their tickets in advance via the official Rashtrapati Bhavan website, as there is no on-the-spot booking facility.

- Bookings for a specific day will close at 10:00 AM the previous day.
- Booking can be done on an hourly basis, and there are seven hourly slots available daily, ranging from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Entry Gate: Access into the garden is allowed through Gate 35, located near North Avenue.
Metro & Shuttle: The nearest station is Central Secretariat, with shuttle bus service from Central Secretariat Metro Station to gate no 35 available every 30 minutes between 9.30 am and 6 pm.
Parking: On-site parking is available for visitors with private vehicles.
