Amid the summonses by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, the latter said on Sunday that they (BJP) bring out accusations against me every day, and all central agencies, from the CBI to the ED, sent notices and wondered if he was the biggest terrorist in the country. Speaking out at a rally in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor said that the saffron brigade is only scared of his party.
Kejriwal also exuded confidence that his party will win all seven seats in the Lok Sabha in Delhi and added that Punjab will also give them a historic mandate by making the party win all 13 seats in the general election.
"... BJP is scared that if AAP works so hard, it'll be inevitable for us to win... We will win all 7 Lok Sabha seats in Delhi... I am sure the people of Punjab will give us a historic mandate by giving us all 13 seats in Punjab... BJP is scared of only one party, the AAP...," Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said, as quoted by news agency ANI.
On Saturday, Kejriwal announced that his party will contest alone all 14 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab and Chandigarh.
Categorically signalling that there will be no alliance with the Congress in the state, Kejriwal said that the party will announce candidates for all 14 seats in the next 10-15 days.
"I would like to seek your blessings on one more thing. In the next two months, the Lok Sabha elections are scheduled. In this election, Punjab has 13 seats and one in Chandigarh. In total, there are 14 seats. In the next 10-15 days, the Aam Aadmi Party will announce candidates for all the 14 seats. Just like you had supported us two years back, I would like to seek your blessings to let Aam Aadmi Party win in all 14 seats by pressing on the 'broom'," Kejriwal urged people to vote for his party in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
In the 2019, Lok Sabha polls, the Congress had won eight seats, the Shiromani Akali Dal had won in two seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party had won two and the AAP had won one seat.
