Jagran correspondent, Patna: Bankipur assembly by-election has become a question of prestige for the BJP, which has now intensified its poll preparations at the micro level with its own MY (Mahila-Yuva) formula. Party national president and ex-MLA Bankipur, Nitin Nabin, on Sunday assigned special responsibilities to the party's youth wing and women's wing to actively reach out to voters at the booth level.

As per Nabin's strategy, both fronts have been directed to launch door-to-door campaigns, establish communication with young voters at the booth level, and effectively disseminate the schemes and achievements of the central and state governments to women and youth.

Nitin Nabeen also held a meeting with ward councillors from the Bankipur assembly constituency at his official residence on Polo Road.

Party's focus on youth and women

The party leadership believes that MY, Mahila (women) and Yuva (Youth) will play a crucial role in determining the election outcome in Bankipur. Therefore, a strategy has been developed to directly communicate with these two segments.

The Yuva Morcha has been given the responsibility of reaching out to colleges, coaching institutes and first-time voters, while the Mahila Morcha will run a massive public relations campaign among self-help groups, housewives and women voters.

The party has also directed workers to increase their activism at each booth, verify voter lists, contact beneficiaries, and gather feedback on local issues. The organisation will form separate groups to regularly monitor election activities. Senior leaders have also been assigned responsibility for various areas, ensuring no shortcomings in the campaign.

The BJP is striving to further strengthen its hold in Bankipur, relying on the government's development plans, good governance, and the organisation's robust election machinery. The party leadership believes that an effective outreach campaign, down to the booth level, will yield positive results on polling day.

Instructions to coordinate all fronts

Meanwhile, organisation officials have clarified that all fronts have been instructed to work in coordination regarding the by-election. In the coming days, meetings of senior leaders, worker meetings, and public relations campaigns will be intensified in the region.
