Days after a Flipkart delivery executive exposed himself to a customer in Bengaluru, a similar incident has been reported in the city. This time, the delivery agent forcefully entered the woman's residence. The man then used the washroom without consent and came out without clothes. The incident occurred in Electronics City Phase 1, wherein the woman ordered a rental agreement through Uber for renewal.

Delivery Guy Enters Washroom Forcefully

On July 17, the accused delivery agent, identified as Mahesh, reached the woman's house at around 9.20 am to deliver the document and asked for the one-time password, OTP.

As the woman went inside to take her mobile phone, the delivery man entered the house, asking for permission to use the washroom. According to the complainant, even after denying the request, Mahesh forcefully entered the washroom. A few moments later, he allegedly came out naked and exposed himself in front of her.

Terrified and shocked by the incident, the woman immediately left the house and called the neighbours and security guards. Later, the neighbours and guard intervened and detained the accused and handed him over to the cops.

The incident comes days after a similar incident was reported in Marathahalli, where another delivery executive was arrested for allegedly entering a woman’s house on the pretext of using the washroom and exposing himself.

Is Bengaluru Still Safe For Women?

These cases have again raised questions on women's safety in Bengaluru, which ranks third across 19 metropolitan cities in crimes against women, as per the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report in 2024, released in May 2026.

The city has witnessed a negligible decrease in the number of rape cases, with 168 rapes, one less compared to 2023, and 180 sexual harassment cases, 30 fewer compared to 2023. However, the total number of crimes against women has decreased slightly, with 4,748 cases in 2024, compared to 4,870 in 2023.
