The victim, Mahesh, a resident of Bhavaneshwari Nagar near Ittamadu, was killed instantly when a large tree fell on his auto. According to police, the accident occurred around 7:30 PM when Mahesh had just dropped off a few passengers near the 43A bus stand and was stopping at a nearby fuel station.
