Naidunia Representative, Dhar: Following the Supreme Court's interim order, members of the Muslim community offered Friday namaz on land marked as Khasra No. 612, adjacent to the rear boundary wall of the disputed Bhojshala complex. The move follows late-night discussions between representatives of the Muslim community and the local administration on Thursday, where an agreement was reached. Consequently, the administration made strict security arrangements at the site, and police barricaded the area.

Muslim Side Gathers At Prayer Site
Members of the Muslim community arrived at the designated site between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM on Friday to offer prayers. Tarpaulins were laid out as the ground was wet from rain. The gathering, which started with 10 to 15 worshippers, gradually expanded to over 100 people. Abdul Samad, President of Kamal Maulana Welfare Society, and the petitioner were also present at the site.
Local Residents Raise Objections
Local residents living behind the complex have raised objections to the designated site for namaz, arguing that the plot is private agricultural land and prayers should not be offered there. On Friday morning, a group of residents gathered near the location and presented their objections to the administration.
Next Hearing Scheduled For August 5
Meanwhile, representatives of the Muslim community described the Supreme Court's interim order as a 'significant development' in their favour. They said that they are looking forward to the next hearing scheduled for August 5 and hope the court will issue a favourable decision in the future.
Administration Tightens Security
In response to the developments, the police and administration have tightened security across the Bhojshala area to maintain law and order. Separate arrangements have been made for the movement of both communities. Authorities remain on high alert to ensure peace in the area.
