Bihar Cabinet Portfolios: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday allocated portfolios to his cabinet members, who took oath today in Patna, as part of cabinet expansion. The chief minister kept the General Administration, State Home Ministry, Cabinet Secretariat, Vigilance Department, Civil Aviation Ministry and all such departments that have not been allocated to anyone.

Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Chudhary was given the Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs, while his counterpart Bijendra Prasad Yadav got the responsibility of the Finance Ministry.

What Nitish Kumar's Son Given

Nishant Kumar, son of former chief minister Nitish Kumar, was given the post of Health Ministry, which was earlier held by BJP leader Mangal Pandey. Vijay Kumar Sinha was allocated the Agriculture Ministry.
