Bihar Police have identified the accused who had threatened to blow up Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Office (CMO) informing about it through an email sent on July 16. The unidentified account claimed to be associated with Al-Qaeda. During the investigation it was revealed that the person had sent this mail to trap someone he knew. A special police team is raiding various places in this regard and assured that the individual will be arrested soon, jagran.com reported.
The threatening email prompted the police and Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) to launch an investigation. Subsequently, an FIR was filed at Sachivalaya police station based on the statement of Station House Officer Sanjeev Kumar on August 2, news agency ANI reported.

On Sunday, it was informed on the Instagram handle of Patna Police that the accused has been identified. A special team has been formed to arrest him.
A case under Sections 351 (4) and (3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, as well as Section 66 (F) of the IT Act, has been registered against unidentified persons, police said.
