Rajiv Kumar also addressed a plethora of concerns by political parties, including EVM rig, deletion and addition of people to the electoral roll and slowdown of voting.

On EVM row, he said a mock poll is conducted every time before the polling exercise in the presence of polling agents. The EVMs are kept in a strong room and are locked under CCTV surveillance. The machines are sealed in front of all stakeholders from both parties. Upon taking them out for counting, the seal and serial numbers are again checked. Randomly selected VVPATs are counted with EVMs. Kumar also cited the Supreme Court comments on EVMs.

On mismatching of votes, he said tallying of EVM votes with Form 17c is made available to the agents.

On allegations of voter turnout change, Kumar said, "...It is impossible to change voter turnout...Some polling parties report at midnight or the next day. Form 17C is matched before counting. There is nothing which VTR does not explain. It explains fully."
