Rail passengers travelling to Delhi may face problems next month. Yard remodeling work is scheduled at Lalitpur station of North Central Railway for a month, from July 1 to August 1.

Rail Ops Will Be Affected On Bina-Jhansi Section

Rail operations on the Bina-Jhansi section will be affected. Some trains will be rerouted, some will run late, and some will be cancelled. This will also affect the 12192 Shridham Express between Jabalpur and Hazrat Nizamuddin. This train will be operated via Bina-Guna-Gwalior instead of its scheduled route for seven trips from July 14 to July 20, 2026. This will result in changes in travel time and operational arrangements.

Cancelled Train

Bhopal-Khajuraho Mahamana Express (22163) and Khajuraho-Bhopal Mahamana Express (22164) have been cancelled for five trips each from July 16 to July 20.

According to railway officials, the operation of other trains going to Agra and Delhi via Jabalpur, Katni, Itarsi, Bina, Jhansi may also be affected and some trains may run late.

Signaling System Modernisation Work

According to the Railways, work will be done to add a new railway line, change points and modernize the signaling system at Lalitpur station.

Post-Non Interlocking Work Proposed By August 1

Pre-non interlocking work is proposed from July 1 to 19, non interlocking on July 20 and
post-non interlocking work from July 21 to August 1.

A large number of Jain devotees from various regions of the state, including the city, will participate in the train.
