Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025 LIVE Updates: Big Setback For AAP As 8 Of 10 Exit Polls Predict BJP's Comeback In Capital
Delhi Election 2025: The voting for the Delhi Assembly polls in all 70 constituencies concluded at 6 pm on Wednesday. According to the Election Commission, the counting of votes will take place on February 8. A voter turnout of 57.70 per cent was recorded till 5 pm in the Delhi assembly polls, according to official figures.
The highest turnout was recorded in the Northeast district at 63.83 per cent, while the New Delhi district recorded the lowest at 54.37 per cent. Among other constituencies, Mustafabad had the highest turnout at 66.68 per cent while Karol Bagh recorded the lowest at 47.40 per cent.
Shahdara recorded a turnout of 61.35 per cent, Southwest Delhi 58.86 per cent, Northwest Delhi 58.05 per cent, North Delhi 57.24 per cent, Central Delhi district 55.24 per cent, and Southeast Delhi 53.77 per cent, according to the EC data.
In the 2020 assembly polls, Delhi recorded a 62.59 per cent turnout while only 56 per cent participated in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna, Union ministers S. Jaishankar and Hardeep Singh Puri, Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal were among the early voters.
Various pollsters, including Chanakya Strategies, JVC, Matrize, P-Marq, People Pulse, among others have released their exit poll results today.
An exit poll is a post-election survey that predicts the likely outcome of an election by capturing public sentiment and electoral trends. It shows how many seats a political party is expected to win. The final result will be announced by the Election Commission.
