Delhi-NCR Weather: After a nearly two-week monsoon break, light rain brought relief to Delhi-NCR region on Tuesday. Light showers were also recorded in Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had already forecast moderate to heavy rain.

On Tuesday, Delhi's minimum temperature was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius. By 8:30 am, 7.9 mm of rainfall was recorded. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius. Clouds will remain persistent throughout the day, with winds blowing at 40 to 50 kilometre per hour.

IMD Issues Yellow Alert For Next 3 Days

IMD has issued a yellow alert for the next three days. Moderate rain is expected, with isolated heavy downpours. Thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds are also expected. People have been advised to remain vigilant and exercise caution in waterlogged areas.

Moderate rain is forecast for Thursday while drizzling is expected on Friday. Cloudy skies will prevail on Saturday and Sunday with no rain expected.

Ridge - 18.6 mm

Delhi's AQI at 10 am on Tuesday was 88, which falls in the satisfactory category. Air quality in other NCR cities also remained in the satisfactory to moderate category.
