JE News Desk: A Delhi man allegedly forced his wife to watch p*rn and dress up like the actress in it, police said on Tuesday. The man, who is addicted to porn, and his family also allegedly demanded dowry and abused the woman mentally and physically, police said citing her complaint.

The police informed that the couple has been married since 2020.

"On Tuesday, a case was registered under sections 498 A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 377 (unnatural offence) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and sections of Dowry Prohibition Act on the complaint of the woman," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Rohit Meena was quoted saying by Press Trust of India.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police also said the investigation is at an initial stage.

"Statements of witnesses are being recorded, digital and other evidence are being secured for further action in the case," he said.

In another case, a man and his friends raped a woman and recorded her pornographic videos to blackmail her. The woman had met the man on a matrimonial site. The man first established intimate physical relationship with the woman, who is a resident of Gaziabad's Nandgram area. He also asked the woman to give him money citing different reasons.

The man, identified as Sandeep Chaudhary, allegedly received Rs 11 Lakh from the woman. Sometimes he would ask for the money from the woman as help for fighting a lawsuit he was embroiled in Jaipur. At other times he would simply ask the money for some domestic purpose. Soon, the woman realised she was being duped.

The woman then lodged a police complaint and demanded her money back. Then Sandeep got his wife to call the complainant at their residence in Govindpuram under the pretext of giving her money back. When she reached there, Sandeep drugged her and along with his accomplices gang-raped her. They also recorded the assualt to use it to blackmail her later.
