Delhi Weather Today: Residents of Delhi got a brief respite from the heat on Monday as several parts of the city received light rain. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert, urging residents to stay prepared for potentially severe weather conditions.

The IMD forecasts moderate dust storms, followed by light rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by wind speeds ranging from 50 to 70 km/h, with gusts potentially reaching up to 80 km/h. These conditions are expected to affect most areas of Delhi.

The IMD also warns that other regions including Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan could experience similar weather patterns, with dust storms, thunderstorms, and light rain. Wind speeds in these areas could range from 60 to 80 km/h, creating conditions that may disrupt normal activities.
