Goa Nighclub Fire: Amid an ongoing probe into the Goa nightclub fire, the investigators have disclosed how the three owners, the Luthra brothers and Ajay Gupta, reacted to the news of the incident in which 25 people lost their lives. The probe revealed that while Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra booked tickets to Thailand's Phuket just an hour after the incident, Gupta flew to Delhi. The Luthra brothers have been detained in Thailand, and the authorities have been putting efforts into bringing them back. Gupta was taken into custody from a Delhi hospital a day after the incident and is being questioned for more details. The initial probe reports have flagged violation of safety norms by the 'Birch By Romeo Lane' club, leading to the incident.

How The Luthras Reacted

The probe reports suggest that the Luthra brothers were attending a wedding when they were informed about the incident. The officials stated they booked the ticket almost an hour after the incident and took the flight when the officials were busy in controlling the flames. "Luthra brothers booked tickets to Thailand on MMT platform at 1:17 AM on 7th December. While Goa Police and Fire Services were battling the blaze and rescuing those trapped, the accused were preparing to flee the country,” Goa Police public relations officer (PRO) Nilesh Rane informed.
