Nepal Foods, a prominent Nepalese brand based in the United Kingdom, has recently garnered a prestigious 2-star Great Taste award for its exquisite Nepali Masala Chai. The Great Taste Awards stand as a hallmark of excellence within the food and beverage industry, and Nepal Foods' Chai has emerged as a standout contender in this esteemed competition.

Among a staggering array of 14,195 products subjected to blind judgment, Nepal Foods' Nepali Masala Chai shone brightly, earning accolades such as being likened to a "Hug in a Mug" by discerning judges. The Great Taste Awards are renowned for their discerning evaluation of flavour and quality, with this year's event bestowing 1-star ratings upon 4,088 products, while 1,568 received 2-star recognition, and a mere 248 attained the coveted 3-star Great Taste awards.

The Nepali Masala Chai captivated the judges with its authentic blend, lauded as "authentic and delicate with subtle baking spices." Crafted using a blend of Nepalese spices including cardamom, ginger, black pepper, and cinnamon sourced meticulously from Nepal's Eastern region, the Chai delivers a truly remarkable sensory experience.

In a competition where, in 2023, only 41.6% of entrants received awards, Nepal Foods' achievement stands as a testament to its unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. Notably, this marks the third product from Nepal Foods to be bestowed with the prestigious Great Taste award.

Headquartered in England, Nepal Foods boasts a diverse product range exceeding 300 offerings, encompassing snacks, pickles, lentils, flour, beans, tea, sweets, fruit juices, sauces, and an assortment of frozen delights such as paratha, samosa, and spring rolls.

Founded by Bikash Nepal, the company has cultivated a robust network of distributors spanning 25 countries, facilitating the global availability of their esteemed products in retail outlets worldwide. Notably, Nepal Foods was also honoured as the Best Nationwide Nepalese Food Supplier in 2022, further solidifying its position as a trailblazer in the realm of Nepalese cuisine.
