Hardeep Singh Nijjar Killing: Three years after the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a leaked audio recording has surfaced in which Goldy Brar allegedly ordered the killing. In the recording circulating on social media, Brar is heard discussing the hit with fellow terrorist Paramjit Singh, alias Pamma.
In the circulated audio, Brar is recorded saying that after his brother, Gurlal Singh Brar's, murder, people like Sukha Duneke and Arsh Dalla continued to live in Nijjar's mansion. According to Brar, they have planned Gurlal’s killing in these mansions. Consequently, Brar suspected Nijjar in killing Gurlal.
In the audio, Brar reveals that the gunshots were not fired out of devotion to the Guru's shrine in the Gurudwara. They were waiting for Nijjar to come out of the shrine. According to Brar, he believed Arsh Dalla was also in the car with Nijjar. If Arsh Dalla had also been killed at that time, he would not have needed to repeatedly give explanations.

Candian Govt Blamed India For Killing
Following this, the then-Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged the possible involvement of Indian government agents. The Indian government vehemently rejected these allegations, calling them absurd and politically motivated. The incident also significantly strained relations between India and Canada.
India had declared Goldy Brar as a terrorist nder the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in January 2024. He faces charges of murder, extortion, and operating a network linked to terrorist activities. His name also came up as the main accused in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
