Indian Oil has introduced Indane XTRALITE NOW, a premium 10 kg composite LPG cylinder aimed at urban households, working professionals, residential societies and customers seeking a more convenient cooking gas experience.
The new cylinder was launched by Hemant Rathore, Executive Director, NR & SH DSO, Indian Oil.
Speaking at the launch, Rathore said the composite cylinder is significantly lighter than conventional steel LPG cylinders. It is also rust-resistant, has a modern design, and features a transparent panel that enables users to check the remaining gas level without any additional device.

The company said the product has been developed keeping in mind the needs of urban households, working professionals, residential societies, and premium lifestyle customers.
4-Hour Delivery And Digital Booking
As part of the new offering, customers can receive the 10 kg Indane XTRALITE NOW cylinder within four hours of booking. IndianOil has also extended the same four-hour delivery promise to its popular 5 kg Indane Chhotu cylinder.
Consumers can choose their preferred delivery slot and book new connections or refills through the IndianOil ONE app, the customer portal, or WhatsApp, making the process fully digital and more convenient.
The company said customers applying for a new connection under this model will not be required to submit proof of address, reducing paperwork and making the process quicker.
Booking Options
Consumers can book a new connection or LPG refill through multiple digital platforms, including the IndianOil ONE app, the company's customer portal, and WhatsApp.
The service will be offered under the Free Trade LPG model at commercial rates.
Price And Availability
The refill price of the 10 kg Indane XTRALITE NOW cylinder for July has been fixed at Rs 1,656.50.
For new customers, the initial connection cost is Rs 4,842.50, which includes:
-Cylinder price: Rs 2,700
-Security deposit and applicable charges (including 18 per cent GST), bringing the total to Rs 4,842.50
The premium LPG cylinder has been rolled out in Gurugram, Pune, Indore and Coimbatore in the first phase. Indian Oil plans to expand the service to more cities in the coming months.
