Jagran Correspondent, Ranchi: In view of the monsoon season, airlines have made changes to their flight schedules. IndiGo Airlines has changed the days of some major flights operating from Ranchi's Birsa Munda Airport. Passengers are advised to check their flight status before traveling, as per the new schedule.

IndiGo's Ranchi-Ahmedabad flight will now operate five days a week. Flights will be available on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The Ranchi-Patna route will operate on all days of the week except Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Changes have also been made for passengers travelling from Ranchi to Kolkata. IndiGo flight 6E-7251 will no longer be available three days a week. This service will not operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Additionally, the Ranchi-Chennai flight will operate four days a week: Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Weather conditions can impact flight operations during the monsoon season. Heavy rain, low visibility, or bad weather conditions can cause flight reschedules or delays.

Passengers are advised to check the airline's website, mobile app, or helpline for the latest flight updates before arriving at the airport. Passengers are also urged to arrive at the airport well in advance of boarding time and carry the necessary documents with them during their travel to avoid last-minute hassles.

In another news, IndiGo has reduced fares for flights travelling from Bareilly to Delhi and Noida by at least Rs 1000. The reduction comes weeks before the airline is set to launch its operations in early July. The Indian airline has reduced ticket prices to boost early bookings.

The airline dropped the fares to accelerate the bookings. However, prices are expected to rise as the seat availability shrinks.

The flight operations from Bareilly Airport to Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport will start from July 1. The flights will operate three days a week, i.e., Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Flights from Delhi will depart at 13:35 pm and reach Bareilly Airport at 14:36 pm. On the other hand, the return flights will depart from Bareilly at 15:00 pm and reach Delhi at 16:05 pm. On the other hand, Flights from Bareilly to Jewar International Airport in Noida will start on July 2.
