Air India Relief Flights: Following the escalating tensions triggered by the US-Israel airstrikes on Iran, the impact on global aviation has been rapid and widespread. Retaliatory strikes and missile exchanges have led to airspace closures across several countries, including Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and the UAE, leaving passengers stranded at airports around the world.

In response, Air India has launched two special relief flights from Tuesday, using wide-body aircraft to bring stranded passengers back from Jeddah and Dubai amidst the ongoing Middle East conflict.

On Tuesday evening, a Boeing 777 with a seating capacity of nearly 350 departed from Mumbai to Jeddah.
