IRCTC Six Jyotirlinga And Shirdi Tour: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special pilgrimage tour titled "Six Jyotirlingas and Shirdi Darshan" under its "Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train" initiative. The train will commence on May 11 from Jharsuguda.
Speaking to Jagran.com, IRCTC Regional Manager Rajesh Kumar said this is an all-inclusive package of 11 nights and 12 days. He further stated that for the convenience of passengers in Bihar and surrounding regions, boarding and deboarding facilities are available at major hubs such as Patna, Buxar, and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction.
6 Jyotirlinga And Shirdi Tour: Complete Itinerary
Sanjeev Kumar, Chief Supervisor of Tourism, stated that the itinerary covers India's major Jyotirlingas and religious sites. This includes Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar in Ujjain, Somnath and Nageshwar in Dwarka in Gujarat, Trimbakeshwar in Nashik, Maharashtra, and Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga in Aurangabad, as well as the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple.
Coach Composition And Fare
- Keeping passengers' convenience in mind, the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will comprise three classes: Economy, Standard, and Comfort.
- Economy class is priced at Rs 23,315, Standard class at Rs 41,570, and Comfort class at Rs 50,410 per passenger.
- The train comprises sleeper, 3AC, and 2AC coaches.
- The package will include high-quality meals, transportation, accommodation, local sightseeing, and hotel stays.
