Jharkhand student protest has achieved a major success as the government has decided to cancel the 14th JPSC examination over alleged irregularities, according to a report by Jagran.com, citing sources.

A third round of talks has started between the government delegation and protestors over the irregularities in the JPSC-JSSC examinations. A delegation of students has arrived at the State Guest House in Ranchi, where they are holding talks with a delegation of four ministers.

The report suggests that the government has also agreed on an ED investigation into the financial transactions of TDPL, the agency conducting the JPSC examination.

The probe has been agreed upon as evidence of financial crimes by TDPL has been found.

Furthermore, the government has promised to complete the investigation of all cases assigned to the CID within 90 days. Discussions are scheduled with two more groups. A decision will be made after that.
