Yuva Nidhi scheme, which promises to provide Rs 3,000 monthly unemployment allowance to the graduate unemployed youths in Karnataka, is set to be rolled out by the Congress government in the state. The Karnataka government allocated Rs 250 crore for the scheme and the registration for the same will begin on December 26.
The Karnataka government stated that there are 5,29,123 graduates and diploma holders throughout the state, based on a survey carried out by the Department of Higher Education. Under the Yuva Nidhi plan, unemployed youths who hold graduate degrees will receive Rs. 3,000 in monthly unemployment aid, while diploma holders will receive Rs 1,500.
The scheme was Congress’ fifth poll promise to the people of Karnataka. The party stated that each month, a direct transfer of this sum will be made to the beneficiaries' bank account. Know complete details of the scheme before applying.
Eligibility Criteria For Yuva Nidhi Scheme

Candidates must belong to the 2022-23 academic year.

Applicants should be from the domicile of Karnataka during graduation and diploma for a minimum of six years.

Applicants should have SSLC marks cards, PUC marks cards or degree marks cards. The government will also consider the CET registration number or ration card which was issued before 2018 as a verification document for domicile status.

Applicants can apply for Yuva Nidhi right away and don't have to wait for the 180-day period to pass after the course to completed. However, benefits such as unemployment insurance won't be given until 180 days have passed.

Applicants who are self-employed or employed in any public or private sector are not eligible.

Applicants who are still pursuing higher education will not be eligible for the benefits of the scheme.

The eligible candidates can apply to get the benefits of the scheme through the Sevasindu portal of the Karnataka government.
