Keralam Election 2026 Live Voting Updates: Polling For 140 Assembly Seats Concludes, 77.75% Turnout Recorded

Keralam Assembly Election 2026 Voting Live Update: The voting for the 140 constituencies of Keralam has concluded on Thursday, with final voter turnout recorded at 77.75 per cent. While the Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) is contesting to return to power, the United Democratic Front (UDF) will try to make a comeback after a decade. Apart from this, the BJP-led NDA is contesting to expand its voter base in the southern state. While the alliance is in power in the centre, it could not even open its account in Keralam in the 2021 Assembly election.
Earlier in 2021 Assembly election, the LDF registered second consecutive victory by winning 99 seats. The Congress-led UDF could only manage to win 41 seats. Apart from this, despite a strong campaign, the BJP-led NDA failed to even open its account.
The final voter list for Keralam was released on February 21 following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the state electoral roll. The revised roll includes 2,69,53,644 voters, 1,31,26,048 male voters, 1,38,27,319 female voters, and 227 third-gender voters. Among them, 4,24,518 voters belong to the 18-19 age group.
