Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), the operator of Indira Gandhi International Airport, has launched relief measures for passengers stranded due to the ongoing Middle East crisis.

According to DIAL, multiple steps have been taken to ensure the safety, comfort, and convenience of travellers facing delays and disruptions.

Airport authorities have distributed more than 1,500 water bottles, tea, and over 500 refreshment packets through mobile food kiosks for stranded passengers. In addition, hot meals are being served at the international transfer area and departure gates to support those affected by extended waiting times.

To streamline assistance, two additional information desks have been set up in the International Security Holding Area and the Departure Forecourt. Quick Response Teams (QRTs) have also been deployed at key points, including the check-in hall, boarding gates, and arrival hall, to manage crowds and address passenger queries promptly.

DIAL said it is closely monitoring the situation and remains committed to minimising inconvenience for travellers during the ongoing crisis.
