Mahaaryaman Scindia Video: A video of Mahaaryaman Scindia, the son of Union Minister and BJP MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, went viral on social media, drawing criticism. In the video, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA, Devendra Kumar Jain, 73, is seen touching the feet of 31-year-old Mahaaryaman Scindia.

The clip, which is purportedly showing a senior politician, who is 42 years older than Scindia, touching the feet of the president of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA).

The incident was filmed when Devendra was celebrating his birthday during a sports event, the 69th National School Games, which were held on Monday at the Shivpuri District Stadium. When Scindia fed him a piece of cake, Devendra touched his feet, triggering outrage on social media.

"India got rid of corrupt royal families long ago, but shameless BJP leaders still treat them like kings. A 70-year-old BJP MLA, old enough to be a grandfather, touching the feet of a 29-year-old Maharyaman Scindia," an user. The mental illness of slavery runs very deep!," Manu on X wrote.

Another user, Madan Mohan Soni, said, "70-year-old BJP MLA from Shivpuri, Devendra Jain, is touching the feet of Maharyaman Scindia, the 30-year-old son of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. The spine of those who stay in politics is always weak."

What Has Devendra Said On The Incident?

Responding to the criticism, Devendra told NDTV that it was a symbol of respect to express for someone and it is not something prohibited by any rule or law.

Mahanaryaman Scindia Hurt After Car Stopped Suddenly

Earlier, a few days ago, on January 5, junior Scindia suffered an injury in his chest when the driver of his car suddenly applied the brakes in Shivpuri district. He was waving to the people through the car's sunroof when the incident occurred.

"As he was experiencing pains, he was rushed to the Shivpuri district hospital for examination and was discharged after 40 minutes," said district medical and health officer Sanjay Risheshwar.
