BHIND: A case of an alleged broad-daylight kidnapping of a youth has come to light in the Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh. The kidnappers were forcibly taking the youth away in a car, but the police managed to chase them for five kilometres, rescue the victim, and arrest three suspects.

The incident took place on Saturday due to an ongoing rivalry between two youth groups from Rajput Nagar and Park Mohalla. According to the authorities, the accused targeted the victim, Abhishek (alias Kundan Bhadauria), who is a resident of Rajput Nagar, and forced him into a car at gunpoint.

As the accused were attempting to drive away with Abhishek, the police were alerted. A team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Shivpratap Singh Rajawat immediately launched an investigation and set up barricades. The police successfully intercepted the vehicle on Babedi Road, rescuing the man unharmed.

Three of the accused have been identified as Raj Baghel, Gopal Rajawat, and Krishna Rajawat who were arrested at the scene, while a few others managed to flee. Following the victim's formal complaint, the police registered a case against seven named individuals under various sections of the BNS, including kidnapping.

Following the arrests, the police publicly marched the three accused through the area. SHO Rajawat confirmed that multiple teams are currently conducting raids to apprehend the remaining absconding suspects.
