A woman from Madhya Pradesh's Narmadapuram allegedly pushed her 8-year-old daughter in front of a moving train. Following this, the minor suffered severe injuries and is being treated in a hospital.
The affected child has been identified as Yuvika. She had reached the railway station with her mother, Anju Singh Rajput, to board the Tamil Nadu Express. According to the eyewitnesses, the mother asked the bystanders to not save her daughter from the accident.
The station in charge said that the woman along with her daughter had been waiting at the station for more than an hour before the incident. At around 8 pm, the Tamil Nadu Express was arriving at the station on Platform 1. The mother at that moment allegedly pushed the child in front of the train.
The 8-year-old girl then got trapped between the railway tracks and the train. After the train had passed, bystanders and RPF personnel immediately pulled the minor off the tracks and rushed her to the District Hospital.
Minor Shifted To Bhopal Hospital
After this, the minor was admitted to the ICU. When her condition deteriorated, she was placed on a ventilator. On Wednesday, the child was referred to the Bhopal hospital following worsening conditions.

The doctor in charge of the ICU said that the child has sustained deep injuries to her head, waist, and shoulder. She has suffered immense blood loss, and her blood pressure remains low. The child has been placed on a ventilator, and her condition remains critical.
Is Victim's Mother Mentally Unstable?
Anju and her daughter reside in Pink Avenue, Malakhedi, and work as clerks in the Agriculture Department. Her husband died a few years ago. She was given his job as a compensatory appointment.
The police investigation revealed that the woman suffers from mental instability and has been undergoing treatment for the condition for approximately the past year and a half.
Initial investigations have disclosed that it was indeed the mother who pushed the child. A case of attempted murder has been registered against the accused mother.
