Bengaluru: A 45-year-old businessman in Bengaluru has been arrested for allegedly beating his 22-year-old employee to death after finding him with his 19-year-old daughter at their home.
The accused has been identified as Anandraj who allegedly attacked Kiran, a native of Kerala who had been working at his cart-manufacturing unit for the past few years.
On Tuesday morning, Anandraj and his wife told their daughter who was in Bengaluru for the holidays from a neighbouring city where she is studying that they were leaving for their native Tamil Nadu and would return by night.
However, the couple returned within a few hours and allegedly found Kiran and their daughter together in a room. After finding them together in anger, Anandraj sent his daughter to a relative's house and then allegedly thrashed Kiran.

"Both were found together. Enraged, he later sent the girl to a relative's place and beat up Kiran, who later succumbed," a police officer said.
Victim's Relatives Calls It 'Premeditated'
Police suspect the murder may have been premeditated. According to preliminary investigation, Anandraj had learnt about the alleged relationship between Kiran and his daughter only recently.
Kiran's maternal cousin, Prasad, has also alleged that the murder was planned. He claimed Anandraj had deliberately sent Kiran's brother to Uttar Pradesh earlier in the week on a delivery assignment, to ensure Kiran was alone and no one could intervene.
After the assault, Kiran sustained multiple injuries and lost consciousness. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The hospital authorities then alerted the police.
Further investigation is ongoing.
