Bhopal Murders: A suspected case of mass murder followed by suicide has come to light in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Five members of a family died under tragic circumstances. The bodies of four people, including two children, were found inside their house in Malikhedi under Chhola police station. The fifth person, the head of the family, was later discovered dead on a railway track in Chopra Kalan, which falls under Sukhi Sewania police station. Investigators believe Narendra Sahu killed his mother, wife and two children with a sharp weapon before throwing himself in front of a train. What led him to do this is still not clear.

Who Were The Victims?

Police have identified the deceased as Narendra Sahu (35), his mother Saraswati Sahu (50), wife Somlata Sahu (29), daughter Kriti Sahu (10) and son Khush Sahu (6). The four family members were found inside their Malikhedi home, while Narendra’s body was recovered from the railway tracks.

The case came to light after the bodies were discovered and police teams rushed to both locations. Early findings suggest a possible murder-suicide, but investigators are still trying to find out the exact sequence of events.

Forensic Team Examines Crime Scene

Given the many unanswered questions, senior police officers have taken charge of the investigation. An FSL team has also been sent to examine the house and the railway track area for forensic evidence. Both places have been sealed so that no potential evidence is disturbed.

As part of the probe, the police are speaking to relatives, neighbours and others who knew the family. They are trying to find out if Narendra and his family were in financial trouble, domestic problems or any other difficulties before the incident.
