State Bureau, New Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is preparing to launch a new housing scheme for people planning to buy a house during the upcoming festival season.
This scheme, proposed around Dussehra and Diwali in October-November, could include more than 4,000 flats in Narela and other areas. These will include one, two, and three BHK flats. Nodal officers will also be appointed for the scheme.
Booking Period May Be Extended
According to DDA officials, the booking period for the existing Karmayogi Housing Scheme and the Nagarik Housing Scheme may also be extended. Currently, a 25 per cent discount is being offered for both schemes. Their booking period is until the end of September, and this is likely to be extended by about a month.
The Karmayogi Housing Scheme offers one and two BHK flats in Pockets 6, 9, and 13 in Narela, as well as in Sectors A-1 to A-4. Only serving and retired government employees can book flats under this scheme.
Eligible applicants can complete the application and booking process online through the DDA's official portals at https://dda.gov.in/housing/karmayogi_awaas_yojana_2025.
The application involves registering with a PAN and Aadhaar, submitting personal and employment details, selecting a preferred flat and location, and paying the mandatory registration fee online. You can view the application steps and access the official portal at Delhi Development Authority.
Last Date Not Announced
The Nagarik Awas Yojana (Citizen Housing Scheme) offers 616 MIG (two BHK) and 567 HIG flats in Pockets 3 and 4, Sectors A-1 to A-4, Narela. The inclusion of various categories of flats in this new scheme is expected to provide options for buyers from different income groups. However, the DDA has not yet announced the deadline, flat prices, and detailed booking conditions for the new scheme.
