An IndiGo flight from Krabi in Thailand, to New Delhi descended into chaos after a group of passengers repeatedly stood up in the aisle, moved between seats, and passed food to family members despite warnings from the cabin crew.
The entire incident was captured on camera and has gone viral, sparking widespread criticism online as users compared the scene inside the aircraft to a "local train".

"Chaotic Scenes On My Flight"
The video was shared on Instagram by Neeraj Priyanka Choudhary. In the clip, several passengers are seen standing in the aisle and moving between rows. At one point, individuals seated in the front rows were seen standing over their seats, leaning backwards to speak with relatives behind them, while two cabin crew members struggled to clear the aisle and manage the situation.
"Chaotic scenes on my flight," Neeraj wrote in the caption of the post.
"A group in rows 1-5 kept shouting, passing food around and ignoring repeated instructions from the cabin crew, disturbing everyone around them. Basic civic sense and respect for fellow passengers matter," he added.
Passengers Ignored Cabin Crew Instructions
As the video gained attention, a social media user questioned whether anyone confronted the group. Replying to a comment, Neeraj said that the cabin crew repeatedly asked passengers to get back to their seats, but the passengers completely ignored their instructions.
"I asked the crew, but they ignored the crew as well. They didn’t care about the safety instructions. Enjoying food is no issue, but ignoring instructions and laughing loudly is bad," Neeraj noted.
"The crew said, 'Sir and ma’am, please sit down. The safety belt sign is on due to turbulence,' but they were ignoring them like they were no one. That’s why I created the video. The air hostess said to me: 'Sir, ye log sun he nahi rahe' (Sir, these people aren’t listening)," he added.

Video Sparks Criticism Online
The video has sparked intense criticism online, with users questioning the group's behaviour and arguing that repeated violations of safety instructions should be taken seriously. While some viewers poked fun at the chaotic scene by remarking that "airlines ko bhi local train bana diya – same same," others expressed anger.
One user commented that "money can't buy civic sense," while another called for strict action, stating, "Ban them from the airline, simple. US/Canada mein if u don't listen to the cabin crew, you will either end up getting arrested or banned from the airline."
