Naidunia Representative, Indore: Like every year, the festival of Dol Gyaras will be celebrated with great enthusiasm during Ganesh Utsav. A grand procession will be organised on this occasion, featuring tableaux from various parts of the city arriving at Harsiddhi Temple.

To ensure public safety and minimise congestion, local authorities have issued an advisory detailing diversions and restrictions starting from 2:00 PM/4:00 PM until the end of the event. Timings are subject to change based on crowd size and traffic flow.

Indore Traffic Advisory: Key Restrictions

Entry of city buses, heavy vehicles, and four-wheelers will be restricted around Rajwada and the procession area.

  • Entry of city buses and other vehicles will be restricted in the Rajwada area from 2 PM/4 PM.
  • Movement is restricted from Patel Statue Square towards Sanjay Setu Square and Yashwant Road Square.
  • Movement is restricted from Collector Square towards Harsiddhi Temple and Machhi Bazaar Square.
  • Movement is restricted from Sanjay Setu Square to Chandrabhaga Square and towards Pandharinath Temple.
  • Movement is restricted from Dargah Chowraha and Nayapeetha towards Machhi Bazaar.
  • During the Dola Yatra in the Palda and Chitavad areas, entry of heavy vehicles from Palda towards Navlakha will be restricted.

Airport Travel Routes

  • From South: Travel via Bhanwarkuan - Collector Square - Mahunaka - Airport.
  • From Central Area: Travel via DRP Line or Marimata - Airport.
  • From Vijay Nagar: Use the MR-10 Super Corridor.

Rajwada to Rajmohalla Square

  • Towards Bada Ganpati: Travel via Municipal Corporation - Imli Bazaar - Barwali Chowki.
  • Towards Mahunaka: Travel from Saifi Square via Lal Mandir - Hathipala - Bada Rawla - Sonkar Dharamshala.
