In a strange incident, a video clip from a liquor shop in Ranchi’s Ormanjhi has gone viral online after a monkey allegedly entered the premises, drank alcohol from a bottle and later fell asleep inside the shop.
The matter came to light in a now-viral post on X, shared by @MeghUpdates. The X post showed that the shop staff allegedly discovered the monkey sleeping when they went inside to pick up a bottle. The creature was then removed from the premises with the assistance of a rescue team.
Sharing details of the incident, the post wrote how the monkey accidentally entered the wine shop and then consumed alcohol from a bottle and then dozed off inside the premises. The post also claimed that a rescue team arrived at the location and safely rescued the animal.
