As the Southwest monsoon intensifies across parts of Maharashtra, several districts, including those in Marathwada, received heavy rainfall on Saturday. Several areas such as Parbhani, Latur, Hingoli, Dharashiv, and Jalna experienced significant downpours on Friday.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), recent atmospheric shifts over the Bay of Bengal have reactivated monsoon conditions across the state. A notable increase in rainfall is expected throughout Maharashtra and Goa between September 20 and 25.

Mumbai Weather

Mumbai is likely to witness light showers on Saturday. The maximum temperature is expected to hover between 27 degrees Celsius to 28.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be around 27.1 degrees Celsius. Sunrise occurred at 06:27 am and sunset is expected at around 06:37 pm, while humidity is at 74.

Rain Expected In Pune, Sangli, Satara

According to IMD, moderate to heavy rainfall is possible in Sangli , Satara , Kolhapur and Pune districts between September 19 and 22. On Monday, moderate showers are expected to lash Nashik.

Mid- Maharashtra and Marathwada Weather

Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada, including Pune, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Dhule, Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Nandgaon, Malegaon, Aurangabad (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), Nanded, Latur, Parbhani, Beed, Hingoli, Jalna and Osmanabad are expected to receive rainfall on Saturday.

The IMD forecasted isolated heavy rainfall across Pune, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Dhule, Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Nandgaon, and Malegaon from September 20 to 22, extending to Konkan and Goa during September 21–22.

Additionally, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are expected across several parts of the state.

Delhi Weather

Parts of Delhi and the adjoining National Capital Region (NCR), including Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad, are likely to experience isolated to scattered rainfall and thunderstorms on September 19.

East Uttar Pradesh is anticipated to see similar weather conditions through September 20.

North India Weather
According to IMD, North Indian states, including Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and West Rajasthan are expected to receive scattered monsoon showers and thunderstorms on September 19.

Similar weather conditions are likely in East Uttar Pradesh during September 19-20.
