A 17-year-old girl was allegedly killed and beheaded by her boyfriend in MP’s Rajgarh district but died within hours after a road accident as he was attempting to flee. Police recovered the minor’s body from the forest on Tuesday. The head was recovered about 50 feet away from the torso.

The man has been identified as Ankit Malviya. He contacted the girl and took her to the forest. Following this, an argument broke out between the two; as the exchange turned worse, Malviya took an axe and killed her. After this, he contacted her cousin and informed him about the incident. Following this, Malviya left with his motorcycle; however, on his way, a truck rammed into his motorcycle, and he died.

Reacting to the incident, Rajgarh SP said that the investigation has revealed that the two were in a relationship. The man reportedly killed the minor following an argument and later died in a road accident. However, the exact cause of the death is yet to be established. The police confirmed that a noose had been found at the spot. The girl had been missing since September 30, a cop added.

What did the probe reveal?

The girl resided with her maternal uncle. As a missing report was filed in the Rajgarh Kotwali police station, the police began an investigation. Officials discovered the minor travelling with Malviya on a motorcycle while scanning the CCTV footage.

Malviya, a resident of Jamonia Ganesh village, worked at a factory in Pithampura. The two had been in contact for around 2 years. The police said that Malviya asked the girl to meet him on September 30. Following this, the minor travelled to Rajgarh by bus. The two then travelled to Biaora on his motorcycle.

The police were then involved in an argument, following which Malviya killed the girl with a saw. While fleeing the area, he died in an accident.
