Noida Traffic Advisory: The Noida Traffic Police has issued a travel advisory for commuters travelling towards Delhi, Noida, or Greater Noida on October 9. The advisory was issued due to a planned event at the Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal in Sector 95, Noida, commemorating the death anniversary of Manyavar Kanshi Ram.
In view of the expected large gathering, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Traffic Police have outlined detailed traffic arrangements and potential diversions.
Noida Traffic Advisory: Traffic Diversions & Alternate Routes
To manage increasing vehicle volume and potential traffic pressure, diversions will be implemented as needed on several major routes, including the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway:
- Noida-Greater Noida Expressway towards Delhi: If required, vehicles travelling from the Expressway towards Delhi will be diverted from Charkha Golchakkar to Gaushala Golchakkar, from where drivers can proceed to their destinations.
- Kalindi Kunj (Delhi side) towards Chilla/DND: Commuters are advised to take alternate routes via Sector 37, Attapir Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, and Sector 15 Golchakkar.
- Greater Noida to Noida (Expressway): If traffic increases around Dalit Prerna Sthal, vehicles coming from Greater Noida will be diverted from Mahamaya Flyover towards Sector 37. From there, traffic can proceed via Sector 37, Attapir Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, and Sector 15 Golchakkar.
- If congestion builds up near the venue gates, traffic from Greater Noida to Noida will be diverted from the Film City Flyover towards Sector 18. Vehicles can then proceed via Sector 18, Rajnigandha Chowk, and Sector 15 Golchakkar, or via the Sector 18 Underpass through the Elevated Road.
- In case of heavy traffic near the DND and Film City Flyover, vehicles will be diverted from the Sector 14A Flyover towards Sector 15 Golchakkar. They can subsequently continue their journey via Sector 15 Golchakkar, Rajnigandha Chowk, Attapir Chowk, and Sector 37.
The Gautam Buddh Nagar Traffic Police has urged citizens to avoid unnecessary travel on the affected routes during the event. Commuters travelling between Delhi, Noida, and Greater Noida are advised to leave early with extra buffer time and check real-time traffic updates before starting their journeys.
