Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's son Raihan Vadra’s debut solo exhibition at Bikaner House in New Delhi faced a sudden setback on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, when a large number of his photographs were ordered to be taken down by the management. The Bikaner House administration issued a directive at 3:30 PM, giving Vadra time till 5:00 PM to remove most of his protest-themed images or the entire show will be cancelled. By the time the preview for 'No Idea Is Final' opened at 7:00 PM, 75 of the 105 photographs, mostly documenting recent student and youth movements in the capital, had been taken off the walls and placed in storage.

What Did Raihan's Photographs Actually Depict?

Talking to ThePrint, Raihan Vadra said that his photographs included visuals of Delhi protests over the last six months, particularly protests against BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan over NEET paper leaks and demonstrations against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. One of the pictures also captured his uncle, Rahul Gandhi, amid protests. Apart from these, his photographs also included wildlife and abstract works.

According to Vadra, the Bikaner House opposed the "political nature" of the images, although they approved his exhibition proposal on June 30 last year. He also said that they were given a layout a week before the opening.
