A bizarre incident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah, in which a primary school teacher was seen playing "Tabla" (a traditional hand drum) by tapping a child's head in the classroom. The accused is seen sitting on a chair while making a student sit at his feet in a viral video.

The video shows the teacher, identified as Dinesh Kumar Mathur, hysterically laughing and enjoying himself while tapping his fingers on the child’s shaved head, drawing laughter from the other students sitting on the floor of the classroom.

Strict Action After Video Emerges On Social Media

The teacher uploaded the video on Facebook, which later went viral. To his shock, the video somehow reached the Basic Education Department, which found the teacher's conduct highly objectionable, India Today reported.

Subsequently, Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) Dr Rajesh Kumar issued a notice to Mathur. Adhikari suspended Mathur with immediate effect, terming his behaviour an act of indiscipline. The Daily Jagran could not independently verify the authenticity of the viral video.

Internet Demands Police Action Against Teacher

The video created an outrage on social media platforms, drawing people's anger at the accused teacher. An X user Ragni Yadav (@Raginiyadav5438) tagged Uttar Pradesh Police in her post, demanding action against the accused.

"Etawah: This is Dinesh Kumar, the principal of the government school. Master Sahab is using a student's shaved head in the classroom like a tabla. The naive students are bursting into laughter at Master Sahab's act. Please take note and take appropriate action @Uppolice," her post read.

Another X user, Nitu (@NituTiw81600052) also slammed the teacher. "This is the principal of a government school. See his act. The master is using a student's shaved head like a tabla in the classroom. The naive students are bursting into laughter at Sir Master's act. But what must that child be going through, whose scalp is being beaten like a tabla?" she asked in her X post.
