Congress MP Tanuj Punia on Monday accused the RSS of following the “path of the British” and branding peaceful youth protests as "anti-national".

“When the country's freedom struggle was going on, similar peaceful protests were taking place, lathicharges were carried out in the same manner, and it was also declared anti-national and illegal. The RSS people follow the path of the British. They were in collusion with them... If these people are calling the protests of the country's youth anti-national, then somewhere they themselves have become dictators like the British…,” he told news agency ANI.
