Jagran Correspondent | Ayodhya: In the latest development in the Ram Mandir donation theft case, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is probing how and under what circumstances the accused, Tinnu Yadav, was given access to the locker keys without official written permission.

The lapse has raised serious concerns, echoing questions previously flagged by a Ramlalla devotee from Madhya Pradesh identified as Abhishek Sharma. The probe revealed that Yadav had unauthorisedly brought his nephew, Manish Yadav, into the group responsible for managing the temple trust affairs.

The SIT is also investigating the circumstances under which Trustee Anil Kumar failed to enforce safeguards in supervising the donation-counting process. The police discovered that Mishra is suffering from glaucoma.

Suspicion emerged about how the organising committee, including Treasurer Govind Giri, entrusted him with such a significant task after knowing his medical condition. Despite the auditors' reporting, they failed to tighten their monitoring system. Nor did they write a letter regarding this matter.

The probe revealed that the bank management had not followed prescribed rules during the counting process.
