The Nashik Police has claimed that TCS controversy's prime accused, Nida Khan, is linked to the forcible conversion of its employees, and the team is trying to trace her. The development comes a day after the Nashik Court rejected her plea for interim bail.
What Did The Investigation Reveal?
The police revealed that most of the victims belong to middle-class families and are between the ages of 21 and 30 years. They used to work at an associate level and draw a salary of around Rs 20,000 per month.
Reports said that Nida Khan, along with her associates, Danish Sheikh and Tausif, allegedly mocked Hindu rituals and deities. Additionally, they made derogatory comments about Shivaling, Lord Krishna, and (Mahabharat character) Draupadi to provoke the victim, as per the FIR.

The officials also revealed that the victims did not approach the company's POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), as there were some "technical issues," and that the members were non-locals.
The official then suggested that to address such a sensitive issue effectively, the POSH committee should include local members. The body must be proactive and meet in person at least every three weeks, instead of video conference, he emphasised.
As of now, no new victims have come forward; the police will act effectively if anyone comes forward with complaints in the case.
The Nashik police's Special Investigation Team (SIT) is investigating nine cases registered in connection with the alleged exploitation, attempt of forceful conversion, hurting religious sentiments, molestation, and mental harassment of female employees at the TCS unit.
These teams have been dispatched to various places to apprehend Khan, officials said.
What Did TCS Say?
Earlier, TCS said it had not received any complaint through internal channels on the matter. The company officials mentioned it has a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and coercion of any form for a long time, and the employees allegedly involved in sexual harassment at the Nashik office have been suspended.
