Farmers' Protest: Authorities in Noida and Delhi have issued a traffic advisory in anticipation of a major farmers' protest march scheduled for today, December 2. The Bhartiya Kisan Parishad (BKP), along with other farmer organizations like the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) and Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), is leading the demonstration to demand compensation and benefits for their agriculture growth.

BKP leader Sukhbir Khalifa announced the march would commence at noon under the Maha Maya flyover in Noida, with the final destination being the Parliament. Thousands of farmers from Noida and Greater Noida are expected to participate.

Gautam Buddh Nagar Police and Delhi Police have implemented strict traffic control measures, including barricades and intensive checks at key border points to mitigate traffic disruptions. Commuters are advised to use alternative routes or the metro to avoid delays.

Delhi, Noida Traffic Diversions Today

  • From Chilla Border to Greater Noida: Use Sector 14-A flyover, Golchakkar Chowk (Sector-15), Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk, and Jhundpura Chowk.

  • From DND Border to Delhi: Take the elevated route via Film City flyover through Sector-18.

  • From Kalindi Border to Delhi: Route via Mahamaya flyover through Sector-37.

  • From Greater Noida to Delhi:

    • Via Charkha roundabout and Kalindi Kunj.

    • Hajipur underpass to Kalindi Kunj.

    • Sector-51 to Sector-60 through Model Town.

  • From Yamuna Expressway: Exit at Jewar toll, proceed via Khurja and Jahangirpur.

  • From Peripheral Expressway via Sirsa and Parichowk: Use Dadri and Dasna instead of Sirsa exit.
