The teacher has been identified as Preeti Kushwaha and threatened the child to not reveal the incident to anyone. Police officials have registered an FIR based on a complaint filed by the boy's father and have initiated an investigation. When the minor’s parents approached the school principal, she issued threats to them.

The teacher, enraged by this, dragged the child to another room. According to the allegations, she turned on a gas stove, heated a knife until it was red-hot and burned the child's private parts. Further, the teacher physically assaulted the boy and threatened him with dire consequences if he told anyone about the incident or repeated the mistake, the complaint said.
After returning home, the child narrated the incident to his parents. The child's father and mother then tried contacting the class teacher, but she did not answer their calls. Subsequently, when they spoke to the school principal, Hemlata Singh, she allegedly threatened them rather than offering any assistance.
The next day, when the father visited the school, the principal, Hemlata Singh, and the manager outright denied providing any help or even addressing the issue, the complaint said.
