Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Indian Railways is planning to run Vande Bharat Sleeper trains from Kerala on three major routes: Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram-Bengaluru and Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru. Priority will be given to the Bengaluru and Chennai routes, which are expected to attract a high volume of passengers. Kerala received the first Vande Bharat service in 2023, which has been a massive hit since it started operations.

Thiruvananthapuram-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Sleeper

Ticket: Fares on this train will be Rs 1,000 more than the average price of the express trains.
Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru Vande Bharat Sleeper
Route length: 631 km
The train will pass through Kottayam.
Current travel time: 14 hours
Once the Vande Bharat Sleeper starts on this route, the travel time on this route will be reduced by three and a half hours.
Ticket prices on this train are expected to be Rs 500 more than the average price of the express trains.

Only confirmed tickets will be issued to passengers for the Vande Bharat Sleeper trains.
The provision of RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation) and waiting list facilities will not be available for passengers.
The minimum journey distance for which a ticket can be booked is 400 kilometres. For any journey less than that, tickets cannot be booked on the Vande Bharat Sleeper trains.
