An Indian travel influencer, stranded in Israel amid the escalating conflict, has shared a vivid video from the ground. The clip captures the chilling sound of warning sirens, residents rushing toward bunkers, and fiery streaks lighting up the night sky.
The influencer, identified as Soumil Agarwal, was visiting Israel as a tourist when the conflict erupted. In a video shared on Instagram, he described the sudden transition from a holiday to a war zone as both unexpected and surreal.
Influencer Shares Ordeal
"Itni badi war chal rahi hai aur main Hindustani jo yahan ghoomne aaya tha, yahin akela phas gaya hoon. 28 February ko jab main Israeli hotel mein utha, toh har jagah siren baj rahe the, phone mein bhi. (A war of such a massive scale is underway, and I, an Indian who came here to travel, have ended up stuck here alone. On February 28, when I woke up in my hotel, sirens were blaring everywhere, even on my phone)," he said.
Agarwal explained how he quickly realised that a full-scale war had begun and that residents were required to move to shelters the moment the alarms sounded. He said, "Pata chala ki war chalu ho chuki hai. Toh agle kuch dino ka process tha ki jaise hi siren baje, tum apne room se bhaago aur bomb shelter mein jao. (I realised the war had started. For the next few days, the routine was simple: as soon as the siren went off, you had to run from your room and head straight to the bomb shelter.)"
The video captured haunting scenes from the streets of Israel as warning alarms echoed and people moved with practiced urgency towards safety. Despite the chaos, Agarwal noted a sense of resilience among the locals. After speaking to th residents, he observed that while the situation is grave, many remain calm due to their deep trust in the military's ability to protect them.
The Iran-Israel Conflict
The regional landscape has shifted drastically following the confirmed death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on February 28, 2026.
