SIR West Bengal: The Election Commission on Tuesday published the draft electoral rolls for West Bengal and several other states and union territories, including Rajasthan, Goa, Puducherry and Lakshadweep, as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voters' lists.

The poll body has also published the list of deleted voters, including absent, shifted, deceased, and duplicated (ASDD) voters or those deleted for other reasons, on the websites of the respective Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs).

How To Check Your Name In The Draft Electoral Rolls?

Voters can check their names in the draft electoral rolls using these methods:

- Online: Visit the Election Commission’s official website at voters.eci.gov.in or your State's CEO website (e.g., ceowestbengal.wb.gov.in) once the lists are published.

- For West Bengal: A direct link shared for Bengal by the Election Commission is: https://ceowestbengal.wb.gov.in/asd_sir

- Offline: You can check your name in the draft electoral rolls at your designated Polling Station with the Booth-Level Officer (BLO).

- App: Voters can check the list through the official ECINET mobile app using their name and Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) number.

West Bengal SIR: What To Do If Your Name Is Missing From The List?

If you cannot find your name in the draft electoral rolls, you must submit a claim or objection to the Election Commission during the specified timeline. Here’s the step-by-step guide:

- Fill Form 6: As per the Election Commission, voters need to fill Form 6 (Voter Registration) and submit it with ‘Annexure IV’, which is a Declaration Form, along with supporting documents to prove their identity and residence.

- Submit Form: You can submit the form to your local BLO or apply online via the official portal voters.eci.gov.in or using the ECINET App.

According to the schedule, the period for filing claims and objections opens today, December 16, immediately following the publication of the draft electoral rolls, and will close on January 15, 2026.

After all corrections are processed, the final electoral rolls are scheduled to be published on February 14, 2026.
