Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of rock and roll legend Elvis Presley and a singer-songwriter was found unresponsive at her home on January 12 and died hours later at a Los Angeles-area hospital. Lisa died after suffering a minor bowel obstruction, a severe consequence of bariatric surgery years before, according to the autopsy report.

The reason for Lisa's death, according to the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner, was "a small bowel obstruction caused by scar tissue that developed years ago after a previous bariatric surgery." Death is a natural process."

According to TMZ, Lisa Marie Presley was discovered dead on July 12 by her ex-husband Danny Keough, who used to live at her mansion in the celebrity-studded Los Angeles enclave of Calabasas until the last day of her life. He gave her CPR until paramedics arrived and took her to the hospital, where she was placed in an induced coma on life support until she passed away.
